Adams Patent Civilian Model 1867 Revolver in .450 Caliber

Adams's Patent 1867, sometimes called the 1866 revolver in .450 caliber. This is a civilian model, but most of these guns were privately purchased for British Army and Navy officers, and saw extensive us throughout the late Victorian era. This revolver retains about 90% of its dark charcoal blue, and is matching serial number 637, probably manufactured during their fist yer of production. The barrel has the Adams' name and address: ADAMS'S PATENT SMALL ARMS Co. 391 STRAND, LONDON. The gun has sharp proof marks on the barrel and on all six chambers of the cylinder. The butt has a fixture for a lanyard ring. The bore retains strong and clean rifling. Size: 12 inches long with a 6-inch barrel. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition:

Excellent condition, retaining about 90 % bright blue. The action is tight and crisp. The markings are excellent.
