Made of burled walnut veneer, the facade heavily decorated with ornate carving in Jacobean Revival style, the finish with dark sunburst finish and conforming top notched for occupant. A pen drawer is flanked by two side cabinets each with three ornately faced drawers, resting upon groove carved bun feet. Bears American Furniture Company, Batesville, Indiana mark (American Furniture Company was established in 1879 and known for "high grade bedroom furniture"). Circa 1920s.
