Miniature Rosewood King Lynn Bracket Clock
Miniature Rosewood bracket clock. Rosewood case features a raised moulded plinth atop bun feet. A turned central finial sits above stepped pediment with gadroon top. Front of clock is adorned with raised fan quadrants above a gothic style arched glazed door. Silver colored dial features Roman numeral markers and has a gilded sight ring . Blue steel hands have trefoil design. Above the XII on dial reads, "King, Lynn." Clock runs on an eight day fusee movement with large shouldered brass plates and four balustrade pillars. Movement features a regulating pendulum and pendulum stop. Clock was manufactured in 1840. Movement still runs. Comes with winding key and door lock key as well.
